Bachelor's Degree in Computer Networking Security, Computer Networking, or related discipline OR Associate Degree in Computer Networking Security, Computer Networking, or related discipline and three years' work experience in the area of assigned instruction
Required Skills & Abilities:
Excellent oral and written communication skills; Exhibition of respect and professionalism in a spirit of collegiality; Microsoft Office proficient. Ability to promote an effective environment for learning in lecture and lab experiences; Ability to teach students from diverse cultural and social backgrounds; Ability to breakdown and disseminate difficult topics in a manner that students will understand and grasp; Have knowledge of security regulatory standards, i.e., Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) qualifications, National Initiative for CyberSecurity Education (NICE), & Department of Defense (DOD) standards; Model and teach skills with the highest levels of ethics and integrity at all times.
Preferred Skills & Abilities:
Industry Certifications in: CISSP, CEH, CCNA,
3 years current industry experience in CyberSecurity,
5+ years' related work experience Community College and or Public School teaching experience. Online curriculum development and online teaching experience. Knowledge of Competency Based Education.
