POSITION SUMMARY AND EXPECTATIONS
As the Market Manager, you will be the owner/advocate of your market. You will be responsible for understanding the needs of your market, customer base and translating those needs into actionable priorities for the organization. You will be a significant contributor in the organization for new product development ideas and will help to develop the company’s product roadmap based on your interactions with customers, outside sales and product management. You must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy. You must enjoy spending time in the market to understand customer’s problems and to find innovative solutions.
You must be able to effectively communicate with all areas of the company. You will work closely with product management and engineering to define product requirements. You will work closely with product management and marketing communications, providing input to the go-to-market strategy, helping them understand the customer and competitive landscape to best position the product for success in your market. You will also serve as the internal and external champion for your market, working with all departments and key customers to advance your strategies and grow your market.

Drive market growth strategy
Customer assignment to pricing categories
Generate roadmaps to align with market strategy
Understand market networks, trends, needs and spending
Define market segments, Total Addressable Market (TAM) and Serviceable Available Market (SAM)
Identify potential new customers and opportunities
Provide strategic market input to Go-To-Market strategies
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing or a related field
Three to five years of product or market management experience - exposure to, or experience in, the telecommunications industry is preferred.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite – Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Soft skills a must - must possess strong verbal and written communications skills, as well as, strong interpersonal skills with ability to relate at all levels.
Strong analytical skills.
Must be tech savvy and able to read and understand product drawings
Must be a self-starter with the ability to be continually proactive
Preferred candidate will have relevant marketing experience and expertise to share with the group
