Amphenol Network Solutions expects to be an industry leader in sales and profits for our space. This position is responsible for working as the liaison between sales, product, and leadership. The role is designed to manage sales strategies by market and customer. He/She must understand the sales pipeline and create sales forecasts based on the inputs provided. Responsible for working with the inside sales team and channel partners to grow new business. He/she will attend tradeshows and events to understand market opportunities and how we approach them with our sales strategy.
Expected to be mentored and groomed for leadership. He/she must be respectful, trustworthy, and live up to the core values. Success in this role will be measured by sales activity, revenue, profit, and company strategy.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Work with Sr. Director of Sales to create and hold accountable to Sales Key Performance Indicators
Generate sales within Multi-tenant colocation, data center, and enterprise accounts and identify product gaps that need to be filled.
Support and Mentorother sales associates.
Create Value-propositions and focus on solution/application selling with alignment to the corporate vision.
Ensure fiscal responsibility and good stewardship by following the sales budget
Demonstrate and encourage a cooperative and congenial working relationship between others, both within and outside the company.
Identify new opportunities for Amphenol Network Solutions and document market trends for company product roadmaps
Work with the Product Management team to develop and respond to products that resonate in the marketplace
Create and support a Strategic Sales Playbook for accounts within market segment
Work to identify new market opportunities
Utilize the CRM and other corporate IT tools to manage sales activity and expectations
DESIRED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s or Master’sDegree in engineering, business, economics or related field, and/or equivalent experience.
Sales experience within multi-tenant colocation, data center and F500 enterprise accounts is preferred, but not required.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
Excellent relational sales and presentation skills.
