Swanson Rink is an established engineering firm in the Mission Critical Industry. As we continue to grow our business we have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Manager to join our team.
Swanson Rink's Senior Project Managers partner with our clients and team members to execute highly technical mission critical projects. This position is the single point of contact for specific clients including hyperscale, colocation and enterprise. As part of the Swanson Rink team the Senior Project Manager is engaged with clients from proposal development through project execution.
Represents the Company in all communications with the client commencing with the proposal/negotiations phase, continuing through final completion of all services, and extending to follow-up contacts directed towards assurance of client satisfaction and marketing the firm's services for future projects.
Identifies resources needed for projects and coordinates with the discipline Engineering Managers to determine assignment process and appropriate staffing.
Arranges for the engagement of specialty or other discipline resources needed for projects and coordinates the performance of required support services, including identifying areas in which specialized technical expertise is needed.
Develops a good understanding of client's organization, key people, and culture and tailors the performance of services to complement.
Creates and executes project work plans and schedules utilizing Swanson Rink processes and continuously updates or revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
Assists in training and mentoring of project management support team including Assistant Project Managers and Project Coordinators.
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field, from a four-year college or university, plus minimum 5 years' experience in Engineering or Construction Management in the Mission Critical industry.
Registered Professional Engineer or Architect, or ability become licensed.
This position requires a strong understanding of the mission critical industry and the nuances of renovation and greenfield construction projects.
Ability to provide leadership by functioning as a sought-after technical and project management resource.
Demonstrated ability to manage and collaborate with diverse team members that are geographically dispersed utilizing virtual technology and in-person meetings.
Exceptional language skills, enabling preparation of high-quality and clearly written communications, reports, specifications, and other required documents.
Exceptional motivational skills and the ability to establish and maintain positive interpersonal relationships.
Ability to travel to project, client and staff locations as necessary.
Requires the ability to pass background checks or security screenings as required by our clients.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Salary will be based on several factors including: experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity. The pay range and benefits offered for this position is expected to be:
$95,000 - $120,000
