Job Description:
At Regions, the Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) Product Owner gathers and prioritizes requirements for the identity and access management solution. This position will collaborate with business owners, users, and other cross-functional and technology teams to ensure rollout of platform assets and that the product roadmap is aligned with overall strategy and goals. Additionally, this position will be responsible for guiding requirements based on prioritized business needs, owning the product backlog, and ensuring successful development and rollout of new CIAM features.
Primary Responsibilities
Leads the adoption and implementation of enterprise-wide Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) technologies
Collaborates with peers to develop product vision and strategy, product roadmaps, and deliver detailed product requirements, workflows, and user stories
Facilitates products life-cycle management from concept to commercialization and manages existing products
Assists in the facilitation of sprint planning and grooming using Agile development framework
Owns the product roadmap and serves as the product owner for scrum teams, creating and prioritizing epics and stores
Collaborates with various partners to define and manage organizational readiness for product rollouts
Collaborates with program and program management teams to ensure the existence of project plans for each initiative or release
Provides communications with all teams to ensure continuous alignment and delivers technical reports on daily activities
Serves as product evangelist, drives standard methodology research and benchmarking to build outstanding solutions
Provides visible and sustained support for products and maximizes value to customers, users, and the organization
Analyzes and advises on new authentication technologies and program conformance
Maintains knowledge of emerging technologies and advancements associated with Omni-channel and Digital Authentication and Identity offerings including Cyber Crime related activities
Proactively takes initiative and responsibility for achieving desired results
This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED and nine (9) years of related post-secondary education and/or experience in Information Security or Information Technology
Preferences
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or directly related field
Relevant security certifications
Financial services experience
Experience with Agile methodology and Systems/Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) concepts/tools
Experience with authentication, identity, and access management platforms such as Okta, Transmit Security, Duo, ForgeRock, and related
Experience with Cloud-based technologies and environments such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Azure
Experience with Linux/Unix, Windows, scripting (with programming languages such as Bash, PowerShell, or Perl), Structured Query Language (SQL), Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP), and web services
Experience with one or more programming languages such as Java, C#, C/C++, Python, or JavaScript
Skills and Competencies
Ability to articulate complex technical concepts or scenarios to both technical and non-technical audiences
Ability to learn additional systems as needed
Ability to research, analyze data, and derive data-driven solutions
Ability to work in a team environment when applicable
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Developed relationship-building skills
Familiarity with Fast Identity Online (FIDO), Web Authentication (WebAuthn), One-time Password (OTP), Biometrics, and multi-factor authentication (MFA) platforms
Knowledge of business systems, programming and systems analysis procedures, and project techniques and practices
Knowledge of software maintenance best practices
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
Strong time-management skills
Strong verbal, written communication, and organizational skills
Strong work ethic and self-motivation
Understanding of Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML), Open Authorization (OAuth), OpenID Connect (OIDC), and JSON Web Token (JWT)

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.
