Who we are looking for Global Cybersecurity (GCS) protects State Street and its clients from the impact of cyber-attacks against systems by understanding the risks these attacks present and mitigating them through a robust, continuously evolving, cybersecurity program and control environment.
Cyber Architecture & Engineering (Cyber A&E) is one of five functions that make up GCS. Cyber A&E designs, architects, deploys, and continually enhances security measures for the protection of State Street's information related to its assets and customers.
This Lead Data Protection Architect will sit in the Integrated Defensive Engineering & Architecture sub-function in Cyber A&E. This role is responsible for overall design, build and implementation of data protection platforms to protect our organization's data and systems. Other responsibility areas are listed below.
What you will be responsible for As a lead DLP Architect, you will partner with data protection stakeholders to drive maturity and transformation in this space,
Be a subject matter expert, oversee the design, development, implementation and configuration of multiple DLP infrastructure technologies through Development, Testing and Production environments
Perform application architecture reviews and improvements
Execute 3rd party application integrations
Interpret business requirements into technology solutions
Work with other technology SMEs eg. End User Computing, Network Services, Server Support and Messaging SMEs
Work closely with DLP Operations, DLP Policy Engineers and DLP Infrastructure colleagues
Create and Review Standard Operating Procedures and Technical documentation
Engage & assist in BAU support escalations to address issues appropriately working with partners.
What we value These skills will help you succeed in this role
Strong experience working in data protection for large organizations, understanding of DLP, CASB, Data at Rest (DAR) scanning process & methodologies.
Exposure to and knowledge of Industry leading Security tools eg Symantec DLP, Digital Guardian Endpoint DLP, ProofPoint, ZScaler Internet Access (ZIA), TITUS, Microsoft Purview, MS Information Protection, Azure Information Protection, Varonis, BigID.
Strong understanding of concepts of risk management and data loss prevention tools
Good problem solving and analytical skills
Knowledge of diagnostic and support tools used in a support environment
Virtual leadership experience with ability to effectively drive results, provide feedback/direction, and manage and build relationships with leaders and team members in a geographically dispersed team environment
Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
Education & Preferred Qualifications
6+ years of technical security engineering experience
6+ years of experience with Data Loss Prevention technology and tools
5+ years of experience in Production Support, including problem identification, ticket documentation and customer/vendor relations, demonstrated through work, military, or education
5+ years of information security administration experience

Salary Range: $130,000 - $212,500 Annual The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
