A-Rent Test Equipment is an established leader in test equipment rental for electrical applications. Now, we’re extending our capabilities to offer the liquid cooled load banks and accessories required by commissioning teams in data centers utilizing Technology Cooling Systems (TCS) for Direct-to-Chip (DTC) applications. We’re seeking an experienced business development professional to spearhead this new initiative. Candidates should have familiarity with data center commissioning firms and procedures and the ability to proactively position the A-Rent offering for upcoming projects. The account manager will work with data center owners, commissioning firms, CDU OEMs, mechanical contractors and others to position A-Rent’s rental product offerings for project selection and successful execution. The role requires complex project role mapping, proactive selling, commercial negotiation and technical challenge resolution skills.
About Our Role:?
The TCS / DTC Commissioning Support Account Manager will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer. This full-time position can be based out of an A-Rent office or reasonable flexibility will be made for remote work. A 50% minimum travel commitment to our various locations or client sites will be required.
What You Will Do:?
Grow A-Rent’s load bank rental revenue by building relationships, prospecting, and closing opportunities, with a focus on liquid load banks.
Develop a sales strategy for load bank rentals within data centers, commissioning firms, industrial facilities, and large electrical contractors.
Use your understanding of commissioning processes to identify who wins bids, where opportunities originate, and which stakeholders to target.
Provide consultative support to customers by helping them understand equipment needs, project scope, timelines, and commissioning requirements.
Build strong relationships with leaders in commissioning firms and customers involved in mission critical and 7x24 environments.
Conduct onsite customer visits to understand project needs, assess opportunities, and strengthen partnerships.
Monitor market activity, competitor offerings, and pricing trends to help refine A-Rent’s approach in the load bank market.
Identify new customer segments and emerging needs that can support fleet growth and future product planning.
Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in sales, business development or account management in a commissioning service firm environment.
Established relationships with commissioning firms, data centers, facility managers, and electrical contractors.
Demonstrated success meeting revenue goals in a technical or industrial sales environment.
Strong understanding of the commissioning process and key decision makers involved in bid cycles.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
